Pecsok charged the field six times with perfect perform an ces at the Lake Wh it ney MX Mem o ria l Day C las s i c . Zachary raced at the controls in the Minibike ranks , while Pecsok owned the B classes and Collegeboy events. Zachary took his wins in the 85cc (14-15) , 85cc Open and 105cc (12-15) Superm in i classes . The 85cc age groups were com bined , with the 14to 15 -year-olds and the 12- to 13year-olds leaving the gate first, led by Zachary . Austin Turner gated second off the start, leading the 85cc ( 12 - 13 ) division. The second gate of 7 - to 11year-olds was led by David Barros, with Lucas Windham hot on his tra il but taking the lead in the first whoop section. Zachary checked out. Turner tried diligently to keep M ichael Kasberg behind him . Meanwhile , W indham beg an to distance himself from the younger class, leaving Barros to defend his position against M ichael Pritchett for second. Austin Miller got by the battling Turner and Kasberg to take over the lead for the 12-13 divi sion and held it to the fin ish , as Zach went on to lead the field for the 14 -15 div ision win. Windham found the best lines to sta y in front for the 7 - 1 1 win . The second -moto start was a repeat of the first in both gates, with Zach l ea d i n g the o lder group and Barros leading the y ou ng er one . By the end of lap one , Zach had established his lead, with Miller, Kasberg and Turner in line. In the 7 -1 1 division , Windham got around Barros on the first lap, w ith Pritchett and Ben Clay beh ind them. When all was said and done, Zach had a 30 -second lead over Miller at the checkers . M iller gathered the win in the 12 -13 category , while Windham cla imed the 7 - 11 overall. Pecsok won all six motos in the 125cc (16-24) , 125cc Band 250cc B events. In 125cc (16 -24) action, T iffer Wright got the holeshot in the first moto, with Dav id Tarnow second and Pecsok third. Pecsok got by Tarnow in the first whoop section and then c' lLeft) J .J . Pecsok 1 84) was the f astest Amateu r racer in Whitney, Texas , blasting his way to three closs wins amo ng the Band Collegeboy events. l Belowl M ichael Kasberg 1187) and Austin M iller 1 387J made the Ju m p off the m ou n tain side by side as they ba tUed in the 85cc 112·131 c lass. passed Wright later on the first lap. Wright held on to second, followed by Tarnow , Adam Turner and Bradley Mikolas . Turner passed Tarnow on lap two and then got by Wright fo r second . Turner got a little squirrelly in the whoops and went down , surrendering second pl ac e to Wright , with Mikolas also getting by before he could remount and rejo in the race . Pecsok never looked back and went on to take the win . M ikolas fin ished second , having successfully passed Wright on lap three. Wright came in third, followed by Turner, Ryan Haring and Jase Merritt. Turner grabbed the holeshot in the second rnoto , with Mikolas and Peesok in pursuit. Pecsok chased Turner into l a p three and then used h i s momentum through the rh ythm sec tion to pas s Turner for the lead. Turn er he ld fast to second , foll ow ed b y Mikolas, Haring and Merritt. Shane Doughty got the hol eshot in the first 12 5 cc A moto , w ith Sha y Manney , Derek Gerdes and Josh Demuth in his wake through the first turn. Demuth powered up in the tower sweeper and fl ew by both Gerdes and Manney to exit in second . Doughty held off Demuth into lap two before Demuth used the inside line of the turn after the big infield step-up to blow by Doughty, who retaliated in the next turn , the tower sweeper, and showed Demuth a t ire, but Demuth grabbed more throttle and slammed the door in Doughty 's face , g iving notice that h e was the new leader. Doughty kept Demuth in h is sights but never got close enough to c ha1 l en ge . Gerdes watched th e act ion from th ird . A few seconds back , in fourth, Adam Mennenga was fend ing off Ryan Wa llace and Daxin Hardage . Doughty went down on IBp fou r, sur r en d eri n g h is posit ion to Gerd es . Mennenga got b y Doughty befo re Doughty remounted in third as the white flag came out to mark the final lap . Demuth took the win , Gerde s was second , Mennenga third and Doughty fourth , with Wallace rounded out the top five. Gerdes snared the ho leshot in the second moto on his Highland 's Kawasaki , with Demuth attached to his rear tire.
