I l- t Light, fast, exclusive• and • now very Inexpensive... Bimota motorcycles straight from the factory for less than $11,0001 but Goodwin, up in front, was increasing his lead. Savage and Kapahulehua got into a pass-and-repass scuffle for a lap until Kapahulehua finally locked down third. Goodwin, with another solid effort, cruised to win number two and the overall 65cc (9- I I) Junior crown, ahead of Sorochuk and Kapahulehua. Savage was the hands-down overall winner in the 65cc (6-8) Junior division, besting Dusty Humphries and Ryan Goodwin. The 125cc Junior class was mixed in with the Beginners, so Zac Humphries just beat 'em all. Beginner Brian Broughton owned the twitch as race one opened up, beating Jason Mindach and Humphries through the first tum. Humphries quickly battled past the two leaders to take the point. Once in front, he turned up the wick and left the field behind. Ryan Mehr, a 125cc Junior hotshoe, was happy to come up and joust with Mindach for second. Humphries won the first 125cc Junior round with ease, but Mehr and Mindach went back and forth until Mehr was able to secure second. Broughton topped the Beginner division. Broughton manufactured his second straight holeshot, leading Humphries and I 25cc Beginner Tyrell Taysom as the second half got under way. Humphries shot past for the lead as Taysom slid out, and Mehr and Mindach moved right up to battle for second. Humphries was rolling, once again way out in front, and when Mehr slid out in a sweeper, Mindach took over second. Humphries posted his second straight win to earn the 125cc Junior overall, while Mindach's second-moto effort placed him second overall, ahead of Mehr. Broughton made it no contest in the 125cc Beginner division, topping Taysom and Vincent lampa. R.sults 50 SHAFT: I. Chaz IianJ.eo\ (Yam). 50 (4-6); ,. C..... 0 _ (Cob); 2. _ Am« (KTM) 50 (7-8): I.
