(This year, the Toronto Supercross was a one-night affair. ) Up until that yea r, Am e ric a n rid e rs had ruled the e ve n t, wi nning the previo us ni ne race s h eld th e r e . Those w in ne rs incl uded Mike J ones , Doug Duba ch , Larry Wa rd , Dam o n Bradshaw and Mike La Rocco .
