The future sta rs of mo tocross lined up on the gate for the Pee Wee Open cla ss . J ustin Bogle got the jump off the gate and kept his KTM in front of a hard -charging Trevor J ohnson. Challeng ing Bog le all th e wa y to the c hec ke rs , Polini pilot Johns on just couldn 't make the pass and had to settle for second. Colt Nichols piloted his KTM to a third -place fi nish. The Women and Vintage riders lined up on th e gate tog ether but had staggered starts, with the Vintage getting off the gate first .
