However, just as practice began, the lights flickered several times, and - puff! - a power fuse had blown, and there was no replacement. Then an electrician who happened to be in the pits came to everyone's aid, replacing the fuse with one he happened to have on hand! The program began only about half an hour late, with the Pee Wees first out of the gate. However, just as they hit the first turn, it began to rain. It was soon over, but by the time the Pee Wees came up for their second moto, the moisture began falling, again . a bit harder this time.
