Most recently. Lewis was chairman of SFX Family Entertainment. overseeing the growth of that business segment to encompass family and youth-oriented stage shows and tours, touring exhibitions and a variety of figure skating events. Lewis will focus primarily on the strategic growth of SFX's motor sports interests in North America and around the world. He joins a strong management team that includes President Charlie Mancuso. Currently. Aurora. Illinois-based SFX Motor Sports is the leading producer and promoter of specialized. in-arena motor sports events. pnoducing over 500 events annually, according to SFX. Gene Romero Promotions will be conducting a West Coast Flat Track Series practice on the new n track at Kings Speedway in Hanfond, Califomia, on March 10. The practice will give riders an opportunity to get familiar with the layout that will be used for the West Coast Flat Track Series opener scheduled for March 31 at Hanfond. Gates for the practice day open at 9 a.m.. and the track will be open for practice from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per rider and $10 for non-riders/mechanics.
