"Ricky came up strong in the middle part and passed me," Windh-;jm said. "I was able to hang with him for a good while, then I really did hit a little spot where 1 got a little tight around lap 15-16. From the 17th lap on, I was feeling a lot better and actually made up some ground on Jeremy and got really close to him. Ricky wasn't at that point pulling, so I just had those two laps where I got a little bit mentally drained, but I was able to pick it up, and that was a good sign." After getting off to such a good start, Lusk was officially credited with second-to-Iast place, but he was remarkably upbeat afterward. "I was content with where I was," he said. "The pace was totally fine with me; it was actually a little slower than me and Ricky were going in the heat race. I was totally fine with where I was, just waiting for the race to kind of wear down a little bit.
