right-hander before the finish line and made the pass in the final turn to win by less than a tire length. Nine seconds back, Hammond took third. Gamble was fourth, with Ollerman fifth. Wykoff again nailed the holeshot to start moto two, chased by Gamble, Marchal, Hammond, Kevin Kramer and the rest. Hammond passed Marchal by the fourth turn, and Kramer did the same around the outside of the decreasing-radius turn. At the end of lap one, Wykoff held a nice foursecond lead over Gamble, Hammond, Kramer and Marchal. Cameron suffered a midpack start but charged up to Kramer by the end of lap one. Cameron moved by Marchal and Kramer during lap two to move into fourth. Everyone raced hard to the checkers, but the order remained unchanged. Wykoff claimed the moto win and the overall. Gamble came across second, his 4-2 good for third on the day. Hammond was a close third, going 3-3 for fourth. Cameron was fourth for second overall. Hewitt (6-5) was fifth overall. After the dust had settled, AMX referee Tom Frantz made the "move up" speech to both Wykoff and Cameron, saying, "Congratulations, gentlemen, you are both now riding 250cc Novice." .... lIcetillo IIKnny EIoy, Arizo...
