In the 65cc (7-9) class, Strickland battled the very fast Nathan Heskett, on his Shotgun Starting Gates-backed KTM, and West Virginia's Colby McCutcheon. Heskett had a good race with Strickland but had to settle for second, ahead of McCutcheon and Kyle Burlile. McCutcheon was also very fast in the 80cc (7-11) contest, taking second, behind Strickland and in front of Kawasaki jockey Nathan Saving. Zach Ames was also a double-class winner. This extremely talented young rider from Prospect, Ohio, was on the gas all weekend, laking the 80cc Extra and 80cc (12-13) victories. Ashley, Ohio's Austin Stout surprised the usual suspects by jumping on the 65cc (1011) class. He stole the show on his Kawasaki KX65. Another Austin - Austin Coon of Spencer, West Virginia - smoked the Pee Wee 50cc class aboard his Yamaha agajn. Nathan Skaggs snapped up two big wins, bringing home the bacon in the Schoolboy and 125cc B classes and adding to his extensive trophy collection. Travis McQueen busted out a huge win, knocking the rest of the 250cc B class to runner-up status as he bounced his RM250 around the arena. Another Oak Hill resident, Westen Hale, was on top of the 50cc (7-8) class. He stuffed his American-made King Cobra 50 home first, with Seth Weis taking second, also on a Cobra. Chad Walker took his KTM 520 in for another two-class showing, dispatching the entire fields of Over 25 B and Open-class racers. Rome, Ohio's Chuck Nicholson was on top of the podium yet again; he thrust his old RM250 home first in the Over 25 A division and also topped the Over 30 class. Walter Bessey straddled his Suzuki and strode in for the Over 40 win, while Findlay's Joey Lewis styled home for the top podium spot in the 16-24 class. In the Money classes, Ff,S Suzuki's Charlie "Runaway" Dunaway put in yet another dominant sbowing. He whipped the talent-laden field of Pro riders in both the 125cc and 250cc divisions, leaving no doubts about this incredible racer's skills.
