Three rid ers collected perfect scores,
all in the minibike classes. Chaz Holladay was serious in the 5lec (7-8) category with 165 poin ts; he won the ov er all

Ronny Jackson head ed up the 65cc 0 011) se r ies title; he al so won the 65c c
Open overall, bu t a second- place finish
at the final round put Jackson 10 points
short of a second perfect score. The final
minibike rider topping all five rou nd s in
the win column was Bran don Fu lton, in
the 85cc 04-16) class. Fulton battled wi th
Jon at han Kerr over .first place throu ghout the series in the SScc Open category,
takin g the overa ll a mer e seven po int s
over Kerr for the series title.
"This has been the most successfu l
series in Texas in man y years," said promot er Terry Co rd ray . "The se ries has

fro m w ire to wire, chased b y Blake
Wh a rton in both mot e s. Trey Phill ip s
gated third an d held the position from
s ta r t to fi nis h in moto one , b u t was
nipped by Brand on Willis in mota two
for th e third-place finis h . Cody Reed
ga te d fo u r th in the se cond mot o but

round of the AMA Regional Fall Classic
Series, held at Village Creek MX Park in
Fort Worth , Texas.
passed Willis when he fell. Reed held on
to third to the finish, followed by Trevor
Morgan and Cory Perdue.
Hollada y repeated his holeshot performances in the 51cc Open even t, chased by
Tyler Cum mings at the start of the first
moto. Holladay held the lead going into
the second lap before Cummings made a
pass on him at the top of Village Creek
Mountain. Holl ad ay wa s a ttac ked by
motor gremlins, but he eventually got his
bike restarted and finished sixth, behind
Cummings, Zeb Smith, Wh a rt on ,
Jonathan Tawney and Matthew Yost.

too k the overa ll wi n by virtue of his 1-2
s co re . Smith clai med second o verall
wi th a 2-3 pitch, followed by Holl ad ay' s
third -overall placing.
Jackson went in to the 65cc O p en
read y to claim ano ther perfect score, as
he had d on e in his age class. The first
moto set him on top of the world, as he
_ grabbed a per fect ho lesh ot and s tayed
ou t front the entire race. Marshall Smith
gated s eco n d a n d never los t sig h t of
Jackson , breat hing down his neck fro m
start to finis h. A hard-charging Du stin
Shows raced in third, followed by Trey
Can ard in fourth and Wi! Ha hn in fifth .
The second rnoto, however, rained on
Jackson's parade. He suffered a less-thanstellar start. Shows grabbed the holeshot,
wi th Smith nipping at his heels. Jackson
caug ht up to third by the end of the first
lap, but bo th Smit h and Shows for ced
Jacks on to tak e third at the fini sh line.
Smith's 2-1 pu nch awarded him the overa ll w in , crushi ng Jackson 's h o pe s of
another notch in the win column.
After ha vin g won th e 85cc (14-16 )
class at every round of the series, Fulton
was flawl ess in th e class at th e fin al
round. The SScc Open cont est, however,
wa s h igh ly competitive , and Fult on
faced off aga inst Kerr , Co lt Humphrey
and Nathaniel Benoit during th e five
rou nds of racin g. Fulton wo n round on e
a t Swan Cycl e Park, with Kerr in the
copilot seat, w hile Hump hre y p layed the
points spoiler at Lake Wh itney' s round
two . Kerr took the win at Cooperland at
rou nd thr ee, an d Fulton wa s at the contro ls at G reenville' s round four. In the
fina l round, bo th of the two you ng men
shar,fd a moto win, but Kerr was awa rded th e ove rall by way of his 2-1 tally.

Twe nty wom en compe ted in the five
races in the series. Jacqueline Hudson
scored the majority of the win s to claim
th e series titl e. Hudson , w ho recen tly
sig ned with th e Plan o H ond a Racing
Team, made the deale rsh ip proud when
she ba tt led with Shannon McKamy a t
the fin al round . Hudson claimed th e
first-mote holesho t but was hou nd ed by
McKamy through ou t th e race. Am be r
Drake ga ted third but wa s passed on the
final lap by Wend y Dial. Ca thy Craig
led th e thr ee-way battle for fourth , in
front of Kristi Myers an d Shelly Dixon .
Hudson suffered some prob lems at the
start gate in the secondmoto, but she was
able to correct the problem befor e her
two-minute hold w a s up . Hud son
cha rged to the front of the pack off the
start, with McKamy at her back tire, passing Hud so n going up Vill a ge C re ek
Mountain. Hudson chased McKamy into
the second lap, reeled her in going up the
Mountain and passed her at the top. Hudson got her CR125 cranking on lap three,
but McKamy' s bigger CR250 kept her
honest and in check as they continued to
. battle for the remainder of the race. Hudson held her position, with McKamy second, followed by Drake, Craig and Dial,
In th e 125cc C Novice cla ss, w hich
featured 132 ind ividua l rid ers thro ughout the five-race series, Cod y Rheinlander cla imed the overall series wi n but
fell sho rt of a perfect score, with 156 ou t
of a possib le 165 points.
In the Over 40 cla ss , with 51 men
claiming to be that age or old er vy ing
for continge ncies , Steve McCombs, wi th
124 points, claimed the bu lk of the boo ty
and th e bi gg es t overa ll pla que, over
Robert "Uncle Bob" Por ter an d his 101
points. LCS's lead tuner, Jack Yost, finished th ird wi th 98 po in ts, while Po tts
Tho mas of Mississippi scored 85 poin ts,
