Invited Pros and celebrities we re eligible to race as we ll, and this class was broken down into five catego ries: Stu ntpe rson /Celebrity, Pro /Celeb rity, Man / Woman, Fat her /Son, and Dirty Guys, wh er e both members had to be 45 years of age or older. One stipulation of this race was tha t each team had to ride one lap double-up. All together , there wer e 77 teams. Super-fast stuntman David Barrett and ve teran MXer Rich Taylo r tea med u p to wi n th e Pro /Celeb rity division, topping the Fonseca /Dubach team. . Mike Johnson and Kehoe ca me out on top of the Stu nt/Celebrity class. The Kehoe /Johnson duo edged ou t s tuntman Jay Lyn ch an d Joh nn y Spar. Rick M ill er a n d H oll e y WO n th e Men' s d ivision, w h ile Mike Runyard and Mic Rod gers topped Tommy Pearl a n d Jo n Marsh all in th e Dirty G uys class. The Film / Encor e race featured two d ivisions, one for anyo ne who wo rks in the film indus try in a ny ca paci ty, and the o ther fo r invited "mo to cross stars of the 20th cen tury w ho would li ke to ma ke an Encore appea rance ." Fonseca, who took a har d blow to the head , and Thain, who could not sense any feeling in his legs, w ere a ls o load ed in to th e h eli cop te r WIth Mitchell and flown to the hospital.
