showings, j oshua Benfield remained a steady

Yamaha of Lumberton's Ja.o;;(m Bryant couldn't
get his groove on in the 125cc B class , but he su re
made u p for it in the 250cc B class . Bryant gave
chase to Overca."ih but en ded the da y with a very
res pecta ble runner-up finish. jason Gree r fou nd
him on the podium with a solid 3-3 score.

In both mot,,,,, Suzuki rid er Scott Sartorius was
showing the way, and his day just got better. Not
only did he gra b two perfect holesh ots, he led a
la rge field a ll d ay long . Cliff Cobb gat ed well
th ro ughou t thc d ay and even tu ally s lid into a
comfortab le second -place ride in both motos, taking tha t position overall Bran don Watso n rounded out the top three, behind Sartorius and Cob b,
although Wal<;on was unable to crack into the top
three in either moto, relying on consis tency. local
rider jimmy Long nabbed fourth on the day , edging out Pennsylvania Ho nda rider Matt Richey.
