Todd Flickenger (1) was runner-up. and Darren Borc herding (297) placed third. (Right) Robert Memoli swept both the 80cc (711) and Supermin i classes at CRC's Sunday mo tocross at Los Ange les County Raceway, lap thr ee, an d the top pos itions we re set for race o ne, wit h Pa rke r lead ing Westbay and Gro bstein home. Grobstein na iled the start in moto two, leading Pa r ke r, Wes tbay, Ha rri s Roy Stevens and Pa trick Provencher in to the first tu m . Th e top th ree qui ckly separated themselves from the rest of the pa ck. Westbay was o n fire , jumping into second on lap two and captu ring the lead a lap later. Once out in fro nt , Wes tbay opened it up an d crui sed to the wi n, and the ove rall 80cc (1416) tro phy , over Grobstein a nd Stevens. Parker came on stro ng at the end of the race, finish ing second, and first overa ll 7-11 competitor, ahead of Har ris and Provencher.
