EVS claims tha t the RS-6 he lps to red uce stress on yo u r Med ial Co llateral , Late ral Co lla tera l, Posterior Cruciate an d the ever so popular and d elicate Anterior Cruciate ligame n ts (ACL) . We' re n o doctors, b ut after wearing the RS-6 for quite some time, we believe it pr otects all areas of the knee from current and po tential fun- . end ing inju ries by providing extra stability. If so meone tries to fight you in the pits becau se you cut him or her off somewhere out on the track, do n't fre t. Th e triple-layered kn ee cup will keep your knee ,cap protected from any foreign object, like a flyin g.tire iron or a crescent wrench, s hould yo u r a ttacker be a non-reasoning person . If that same foreign object should hit you anyw here near your knee area, you'll be in pretty good sha pe, becau se the brace is mad e with impact pan els on the thigh and the shin areas, Not only that, the bra ce will no t cu t d own on you r ran ge of motion, so you can kick back if you need to, but the R5-6 does pr event you from a hyperextension. So, what makes the R5-6 any d ifferent from all the other kn ee braces out on the market? First of all, the R5-6 features U On ~our knees. a p ro tect ive cover over its hi nges, w hile other braces are known to shred riding pa nts, tank g rap hics a nd sea t co vers w ith their hinges a nd hard surface areas . If you haven 't ridden wi th armor attached to you r kn ee before, it w ill ta ke yo u about five minu tes to get u sed to th e fee l of th e brace.
