Des try Abbo tt and Ty Dav is both need ed the win to stop Brian and stay in . the ch ase fo r a titl e sh o t in the final round two weeks later. Spectators at the end of the bomb run found themselves running for cover as the riders swung eve r wider, trying to get out of the dust and into air clea r enough to see where t h ey were going . Davis went crashing to the ground , while Headman went on to finish second. (Be low>Destry Abbott kept his champ ionsh ip hopes alive by winning the Wendover National. ,
