Suzuki's David Pingree wins the first AMA Western Regional 125cc Supercross event of 2000
Like the new Millennium, the AMA Supercross season opener went off without a hitch for Suzuki as they enjoyed the sweet taste of victory in
Anaheim. David Pingree was Suzuki's man of the day as he rode a nearly flawless main-event, maintaining a dominating lead throughout the
15-lap race before landing atop the podium. And, while Pingree was busy ripping it up in Anaheim, Suzuki riders Denny Stephenson and
Buddy Antunez were having their own celebration by winning all four motos in Round 5 of the National Arenacross Series in Fort Worth,
Texas. With victories like these, it's no wonder why Suzuki is still popping the champagne bottles long after New Year's.
