This new position, located in Mentor, Ohio and reporting to the President, will be responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining sophisticated sales and marketing strategies designed to increase the sales of Wiseco products. . . The individual selected will be a key member of the Wiseco Executive Team with direct management responsibility for the W iseco sales, marketing and customer service organizations at the headquarters in Mentor, OH, company owned distributors in Califomia, Canada and Texas and the go-kart distribution business, American Power Sports. The individual selected forthis position will insure that sales and marketing plans are developed and implemented in order to meet company growth objectives, will develop and implement an effective distribution strategy that ensures Wiseco is able to meet customers needs through market channels that result in maximum long term profit for Wiseco. Will be responsible for identifying target market segments and aligning resources accordingly as well as developing a highly motivated, customer-focussed sales and marketing organization. Position is also responsible for all advertising and promotional programs, developing systems to capture customer input 0 potential new productsand leads internal cross-functional processes in Manufacturing and Engineering organizations todevelop profitable additions to Wiseco 'sproduct line. Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree in business administration, marketing orother relevant field. An advanced degree would be considered an advantage. Must have a minimum of to years ofprogressive business experience with at least five years in a leadership role. Should have relevant industry experience and a strong technical aptitude with hands on engine repair and/orracing experience. Must be a team player, interestedin a participative management style and have the ability to work in a fast paced work environment. Must have strong planning, analysis and negotiating skills and be able to drive the sales &marketing function to an increased leve/of customer focus and customer oriented mentality within the marketplace.
