Miller th en turned the tables by takin g the win in the 16-24 Com bined class over Robinson, wh o finis hed second . Som e 400 rid ers turn ed ou t to com pe te und er sunny ski es, with temperatures in the 80s, and we re greeted to some wet spots on the tra ck du rin g practice from the previous nigh t's wa teri ng, but a fter a few motes , th ings tacked up nicely. A brief rain showe r just before the second motos we re comp leted mad e scoring an~ rid in g d ifficu lt for a few motes, bu t the track shaped up again. Ma ll Mo rgan grabbed the ho leshot in the first 16-26 Combi ned moto an d led the way for two lap s before losing the fron t en d in a sweep-er. Miller had wo rke d his way up from a bad sta rt an d now took the lead . Miller took the win, with Robinso n seco nd a nd John Ste in brone r third . • . Nigel Martin took the ea rly lead in m oto two , wi th Miller and Robinson close behind. On lap two , Miller moved into the lead by outbraking Martin on a steep downhiII going into a tight left-han d co mer. Miller too k the win a nd the overall. Marti n finis hed second, whic h, with his first-mote fifth, gave him third overall. Robinson was third in the moto , for second overall. Robin son jum ped ou t fron t in the first 125<:c Amate ur moto, with jason Ragan and Martin in tow. Robinson took th e win , w ith Ragan an d Martin finis hing seco nd and third. Robinson grabbed the seco nd -mo te holesh ot, wi t h josh Ci slo and Miller close behind . As Miller and Cislo diced ov er seco nd , Rob ins on ope ned up a small lead by putting in som e fas t laps and choosing good lines , but by lap three, Miller was closing the gap on Robinson. Robinson took the win and the overa ll with Miller in second just a few second s beh ind. With his firstmot o fou rth, Miller wa s sec ond ove ra ll.
