"Th is eve nt was huge," he said . "Thi s is the most riders we've had here since 1976, and the spectators came in d roves as we ll. We ran ou t of food at the concessio ns s ta n d th ree times on Sunday alone, and ha d to run for supplies. The local comm unity rea lly gets behi nd this event and that helps a great deal. In the 800cc multi class, Cipala races a circa 1972 Kawasaki H-2 750 in a late-mod el Kawasaki KX fra me . About the beautifu l machine , Cipala offered , "The eng ine is buil t by Laverne Rosenb urg (Ellsworth, Wiscon sin ) and it run s very strong . We have not dyno' d th is one, but I'd imagine it put ou t in the neigh borh ood of 115 horsep ower." Ci pala, who was load ing u p after the event and preparing to become Mr. Eleva tor Re pairma n again , th an ked h is sponsors an d the n thanked his wife. 'T d really like to thank Bobbi for her support, because whenever I have to go out and work on th e bikes, she never complains," Cipala sai d .
