time of the event.

"Harold and I really had a war go ing
on to d a y," th e 37 ; ye ar-o ld j ohnston
said . "He came bac k to beat me on the
500, but I w ent o n e fu rther, p ick ed
another lin e, in the 751cc-O pe n class,
and eve rything just clicked .
"Th is is m y fir st yea r back on the
Harley ," johnston ad ded . "W e finally
go t all of the bu gs worked out of it yesterd ay, which wa s a prett y good one. I
was also Kin g of the Hill. Yeah, it' s been
a prett y good trip for us."
