Team Yam aha's Jimmv Nelso n and Su zuki's Kyle Partridge trad ed ov era ll wi ns in the 80cc (12-13) ran ks. Partridge took adva ntage of grea t hol eshot s to score the overa ll win in the 80cc (12-13) Stock division, whil e Ne lson rebounded for th e (12-13) Modified ,class title. Arizo na' s Pa ul Pearcy earned a podium finish wi th third overall in the 80cc (1213) Stock class, followed by Kelly Tedder and Lanc e Hiser , w h ile Eas t Coa s t rid er Robert Kiniry , Texan Brandon Fulto n.and Paul Pearcy fille d ou t th e top five in the Mod ified (12-13) di vision . In th e ju n io r cycl e r anks , Te am Green /R&D Racing-backed Mike Alessi kept his win ning season going forward wi th three sepa ra te cla ss wins: in th e 60cc Sto ck (9-11), 60cc Modified (9-11) and th e Rac e Of Champions . Al e ssi posted si x ou t of six m oto wins in the jun ior cycle divisio ns but finished second to Kyle Chisholm in both the 80cc Stock and Modified (7- 11) di vi sions aboard his high-powered Kawasaki s. This year' s World Mini Champio n, Aus tin Stroupe, kept th in gs going forward wi th wins in both the 60cc Stock and Mo dified (0-8) di visions. Stroupe also appea red to be the week's fastes t -Pee Wee racer , but cr ashes h eld him back to a pair of fifth-place fini sh es in both 50cc (7-8) Stock and Modified di visions. Rutherford was untou chab le in the SOcc (7-8) Modifi ed d ivision . "Th is bike has over 11 hp," said R&D Racing co-o wn er Dean Dickins on , w ho built the bike. "We' came up with a new pipe d esign that produces more overrev tha n a KX60." Osbourne, mean while, styled his way to the ove rall wi n in the Su per Pee Wee final, using a 4-1 finish to ea rn th e championship over D.J. Ellis' 3-2 and Colton Bailey's 2-4. Michael Hall see med to be a contender in the stock SO (7-8) class, and words cc becam e reality as Hall took home th e o nly Cob ra cham pionship of the week cc by wi nning the SO (7-8) Stock d ivision a hea d o f D.J. Ellis , C am eron Smith, Colton Maynard and Aus tin Stroupe. Dako ta Garner scored an upset victory in th e SO cc (4-6 ) class, topp in g World Mini Cham pion N ik Pa lu zzi in bo th SOcc Sto ck a n d Mod ifi e d (4-6) classes . Pa lu zzi gave it his all during each m ote , bu t th is w eek h is a ll wasn ' t enoug h, and he end ed up in the runnerup po sition in ea ch ra ce, foll ow ed b y Forrest Lan e and Zac Freebe rg in the Stock class, and Lane and PPG-backed Brett Downey in the Mod ified class. eN Ponca City Raceway .
