pursuit. Valcore took the inside line in
turn two, powering into first, but a littl e
too much exube ra nc e wi th the thro tt le
la nd ed him o n th e grou nd befo re th e
first tabletop. Th e rest of the field was
able to cruise by him befo re he could
reco ver. C r ossin g the fi n is h in firs t
through third wer e Ga rcia, Angelo and
Daugherty.
Daugh erty too k the overa ll wi th his
1-3 finish , followed by Garcia 's 5-1 and
Angelo's 4-2.

first mo to of the combined 80cc Int ermed iate/ Novice race. Hunter captured second d uri ng the fir st lap. Sp encer w en t

lead . Hunte r mi xed it up w ith Udeh
until Hunter slid ou t in the mud at the
end of the third lap.
"I wasn 't riding so good, " Udeh said.
"Then he (Hu nter) made a mistake. He 's
in the No vi ce clas s, so I shoul d have
been able to beat him."
After passin g Hunter , Ud eh cruised
to th e fin ish lin e. Interm ediate Chase

Minor came past the checke re d flag in
second th rou gh fourth.
" It was a hard first m ot o," H u nter
admitted. "I wa s trying to hang wi th all
the Int ermed iat es and I bobbled a lot. I
bobbl ed in the sweeper turn before th e
hill, th en I ended up falling because it
was rea lly wet."
In inoto t w o , Ud e h captu red t he
h ol es hot and cruised to th e finish in
first. Hunter and Spe ncer got tangled up
in the seco nd turn, d ropping them back
to the end of the pack. H unter man aged
to find his way th ro ugh th e racers to
fourt h place by the last lap . Th er e, Vincent Benavides and Minor were ba ttlin g
for seco nd . Mino r trie d to make a pass
on Ben avid es. Bena vid es bobbled a nd
Min or too k the inside line an d lost tra ction. H unte r took advantage and passed
Minor to take the Novice win .
Hunter was pleased with th e conti nuation of his win streak.
"I've wo n every mot o, every race in
th e series so far," he noted.
"I think that wa s the best race of the
day," Minor said. "Nex t tim e I'll get the
win."
