with Mark Corsetti making up grou nd
from a poo r start.
Brown soon starte d clickin g off lap
after lap with precision, pulling out a
lead over Iwanaga and Hleb o. Mayfield
had pa ssed Sanchez, and began to look
for a wa y aro u nd Dam ro n as Corsetti
cam e through the pa ck to make the race
three-wide around the ba nked oval's
wi d ening groov e . Corse tti ca rri ed th e
speed on the outside of the gro u p and
head ed after Hlebo in thi rd . Ma yfield
a ls o elb owed hi s way p ast Damron' s
Husaberg to take fifth. Sou za grabbed a
bigger handful and began to wo rk on
Damron , also trying the high line for the
pass.

him sixth and d ropping Dam ron back to
seven th. Hart and Noyes worked for
p osition a nd were ga in ing o n eigh thpl a ce d Jes s e Sanche z . Noyes b eg a n
searching for traction on the ou tsid e of
San chez as the white flag came out , but
slipped a little too high to grab hold of
the track.
Brown continu ed to the win, making
it look easy, with a gap to Iwanaga, who
had a similar distance to Hlebo . Corsetti
took fou rth , close to Hl ebo, wit h Ma yfield al so in the hunt in fi fth. Souza,

rounded ou t the top 10.
