third a nd Ges sner took fifth.
Walke r was aga in the dominant force in the
Over 25 A class, as Carrier and Gessner tried to
catch the speeding leader . In the first moto, Carrier, in seco nd, bobbled on the inside of a hairpin
tu m , all owing Gessner to sw ing to the outs id e
and move int o second on the fina l lap. Ca rrier
had to settle for third.
In the second moto, walker wa s again in the
fro nt spo t, followe d by London 's Kevi n Black,
Larry Spa rks a nd Gessner . Ca rrie r slid sideways
ove r "Ca nvo u" and pulled off the track for a
DNF. Walker had a hu ge lead early in the moto.
Spa rks pa ssed Black and Gessne r a lso moved
by. Spa rks a nd Gessn er rode w heel to w heel
until Gess ner fina lly got up enough mo mentum
to take over seco nd . Gess ne r sta rted closin g the
gap to Walk er, who stalled his machin e midway
through the final lap, allowing Gessn er to tak e
cha rge . Af ter res tarting, Walker ju mped back
beside Gess ner as a la pped ride r got in th e way .

checkered. but Walke r ma naged to hang on for
the win .
