Gary Beach go t the third spo t. The next event wa s the 500cc Mod ified feature, and had a father-a nd -so n pai r as Phil an d David Wolf lined up on th e secon d row . Joe Bromley go t th e holeshot and we nt wire to wir e for his win. Bryan Smith got by Tony Bolling late in the race to take second . Bolling got third . Joel Brow n had the best finish for a local rider, coming home in fou rth place, w hi le Phil Wolf finish ed sixth, two places ahead of his son David. Three local rid er s came to the line for the Over 30 Open feature. At the start, Phil Wolf got the early lead . Mike Butler s ta r ted in th ird a n d ch ew ed on Mall McQuillin u nt il he passed him on th e sixth lap, took two more laps to get by Wolf a nd came home th e w inn er a nd th e class cha m p ion . (Right) Cory Roth won the 600cc Pro Sport feature at the Lawrenceburg Short Track, but it was just icing on the cake, as Roth also claimed the Grand Champions hip in the 250cc Pro Sport class.
