In Palmdale, California, 125cc Novice racer Gerard Patin Jr. came from behind in moto one to finish third and prevailed in moto two to take the win and the overall at CRC motocross at Los Angeles Country Raceway. some big off-road air over the Austin Motosports Association-<;Iesigned gully jumps. Goertz patientJy waited and parked Bailey with an inside move and never looked back. Goertz utilized traffic to stretch out a lO-second lead to claim his first victory of the year. Cody Potts took the final podium position. in the 200cc A class, Brian johnson and Darren Porter traded paint for two hours, only to see Porter make a last-lap pass for the win. The Over 40 A class saw some heated competition, with Darrell Conner holding on to a three-second lead for the victory over Bryan Graver. Overall B honors went to Jeff Kaiser after a racelong battle with fellow 200cc B rider Nathan Frerich. Eric johnson held off a racelong challenge from James Dickey to abscond with the Four-Stroke B-dass victory. The struggle for Overall C domination continued and turned into the race of the day. Honda-mounted Andrew Davis held off the advances of Joseph Jones, Greg Lene:r and David Turnage, respectively, as all riders finished within 20 seconds of eaCh other. Bobby Lewallen squeezed out a two-second margin of victory at the checkered flag over "P-Nut" Baird in the Over 40 C contest. Preston Wiser smoked the 45minute 6Occ-class contest lor his first win of the season. Derek Osborne found the right combination to score the win in the 50cc class.
