Events f Shawn Trabert took the 125cc Noviceclass honors during CRC Motocross action at Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale, California. Overall B honors went to 200cc B-class rider jeffrey Kaiser. The young and talented Yamaha rider set the pace early and blistered each special test on his way to a convincing victory. The story of the day came from the Open C dass, as Lacy Thompson displayed her tight woods-riding skills and ra ised a few eyebrows by winning the Overall C trophy. Thompson, an elementary-SChool teacher and former Wornen's- dass champion, put on a riding clinic of her own and sent everyone home with a note pinned to their jersey. Chris jesperson continued his domination of the 60cc dass by taking his third consecutive victory. Chad Goertz hacked up his previous results wifh a win in the 50cc class.
