By Dave Hoenig Photos by Flat Trak Fotos urely no one can say they didn't get their fill of racing during Bike . Week's four-round Southeast Amateur Dirt Track Regional Championship Series. When you tally up all the heats, semis and mains that were run during the course of the week, the green flag fell more than 300 times. That's a lot of racing. Perhaps one rider just might not have had enough racing. After all, he won just about every race in which he competed. That rider was Michigan's Nick CUI!\;" mings, who came away with eight feature wins that he accumulated over three classes. Cummings took the gold in the 125cc National, and the 85cc (12-15) and the 85cc DTX classes. Californian Tony Meiring was almost as successful as Cummings, as he swept the 250cc ational classes. He had a shot at matching Cummings' eight wins but came up short in the 600cc National class on the final night of racing at Barberville. That win went to Roger Lee Hayden. Other top riders during the course of the week where Michigan residents Tom Link and Wesley BroWn, who each took home four first-place trophies, while Henry Wiles, Justin Hittle, Mike Kolen- S (Above) Nick Cummings walked away with eight class wins in the Florida Amateur Dirt Track Series. (Right) Tony Meiring, here leading Roger Lee Hayden in the 250cc class, posted seven class wins. da, Tom McGrane and Mark Hawk all garnered three wins apiece. ROUND 1 BARBERVILLE, FL, FEB. 27 The 125cc National class was combined with the 125cc Beginners, and it was Beginner Wesley Brown who jumped out to the early lead in the main. Jared Mees, Tom Link, Rob Pearson and Nick Cummings settled in behind him and started giving chase. Brown, however, held his ground and ran the gauntlet until his Honda seized on the fifth lap. Nick Cummings took over Brown's spot, held it for the remaining three laps, and took a strong win over Rob Pearson, Tom Link and Jessie Kolenda. 6S (7-11): 1. Justin HitUe (Kaw); 2.
