Ducray dynamite at Lodi marathon By Mike Law Lom, CA, DEC 6 Eric Ducray of Sacramento arrived a stranger to the famous Lodi Cycle Bowl clubgrounds, but lle left a winner, as he bested newcomers and regulars at the first of three marathons amid less-than-perfect weather conditions. The basic strategy was to get a good start, make a good pit stop, and keep chugging away." Although the 250cc riders turned quicker lap times due to the rapidly changing and drying track conditions, the Open- and Vet-class riders clearly had their work cut out for them. Many motocrossers came to Lodi to challenge the track's seasoned veterans on the approximately one-mile course.
