have wished for a greater victory, claiming his first major 250cc supercross win
and, in doi ng so, takin g the early lead in
the four-round series.

Th is year's World Su pe rcross Cha mpionship has been one of the real questions marks in European off-road racing. .
When the series wa s first taken over by
promoters the Action Group, it was conside red a grea t move. Top names were
put on the billin g for the opening round,
and with a track that wa s styled on the
famo us L.A. Coliseu m, it wa s expected
to be the g re a tes t Su pe rcross Europ e
