Shane Lusk an d Luke Bunzendahl also claimed double class wins in their respective BOee divisions. Christopher Bailey came ou t on top of a four-way points tie for second overall, as his 5-2 tally ed ged Raymon d (4-3), Whitmire (3-4) and Dwayne Bone (2-5). Th e 125cc B d ivision saw SYD's Codv Wat ford extend his series points lead via his " l ir ·o f p.: third -p lace finishes. Watford 's sco re w a s al so good enoug h for the day' s to p honors after first mota winner Brett Ha st y suffered a last -p lace finish in moto tw o . Jake Hamlin,had a poor firs t mot o bu t came back to "';n the final moto, net ting sixth ove rall. Hamlin had better lu ck in 250cc Bracin g, where he won both motos ove r Jo hn Watkin s a nd Jeff Killian , who returned to win the 16-24 Amateur cl ass a fter sh aring mota wins with se ries leader ~a n LeCroy. Tommy Marti n won the first Ov er 25 moto , but he decided. to sit ou t the final moto a fter his injured wrist began to give him problems . Series leader Mike Garrett claimed the go ld via his 2-1 finish es. The Over 35 co ntest had an excitin g conclusion, as Gr f!8 Roberts It.'d Greg Lassiter in a winner- take-all St'Cond-moto figh t. Lassit er made his move on the last lap , w inn ing the moto and the overall ahead of Robe rts . Bub ba Crosby showed the wa y at the sta rt of the ope ning SOcc (7-8) mot a , bu t a spill set him back to an eventual 4-1 score. Stephen Amerson wa s hot, and his 1-2 finish es won the da y over Crosby. Current 50cc (7-8) AMA National Champion J.J. Mak-ske took a big step tod ay, as he raced an SOeemachine for the first time.
