" I tried to ma in ta in a smooth and co nsistent pace beca u se o f the hea t a nd th e w et co nd itions ," Dilbac k said . "Late in the race, I got held up on a hill and Iosr the lead . I gritted my teeth and we nt for it: Two lap s fro m the end , I took the lead and never looked back.
