• 1999KTMs Shown here Is the '99 KTM 125SX. Like all of the new 125 through 380Cc two-stroke KTMs, the 125SX features the secorid-ge nera tion WP PDS shock, wh ich has been completely reworked to Improve high- and low-speed damping action. The 125 also gets the revamped 50mm WP fork, sim ilar to those found on the 25O-and-bigger models, The ott-road 125E1XC however, retains the 45mm Magnum fo rks . All of the '99 KTMs feature ignition-timi ng , changes and all-new eng ine reed-block assemblies, which have dua l, two-petal horizontal vane reeds insert ed Into the intake track. All of the 250cc models, like the 250 ElXC sh own here, feature a new cyli nder and cylinder head, Also, they get a lighter crank and a new sh ltt-tork rod design to improve sh iMin g under a load. The '99 300MIXC (shown) and ElXC feature the new shock, reed-block and tranny modificat ions. As fo r the 380 models (shown Is the 380 ElXC), they feature a new decompression hole in the cy linder to allow for easier starting ,
