Osbo rne, a d ouble class winn er himself, was not to be outdone by'Seely. The
Abingdon, Virginia, resident won titl es
in the 50c c (7-8) Stock a nd 60cc (6-8)
Stock classes over some very stiff competitio n. On the 50, the Cob ra-mounted
Osborne ou tdueled Seely for the win,
followed by Henry in third . On the 60,
Osborne ed ge d Joseph Marburger and
the pride of Carver , Minnesota, Ryan
Du ngey.
Another 60cc hotsho t, Jos h ua H ill ,
was very impressive at Pon ca. Hill was
d efinitely in "the zo ne" as he laid waste
to the 60cc (6-8) Modified class. Sweeping bo th mot os, Hill had amassed a lead
of five seconds over second place by the
end of lap one . Hill cru ised to the title
ah ead of Osborne and Chad Gores.
Kyle Partridge won a title in the 80cc
(0- 11) Stock class , followed by Florid a's
Kyl e Ch isolm an d Georgi a' s Andrew
Matusek in second and third, respectively.
Ch iso lm rebounded to take home a
cha m p ions hip in 60cc (9 -11) Mod ified
ac tio n ove r Cali fornia' s Cas Swift and
Utah's Beni Willia ~
O klahoma' s Chad Coo k tu rned in
co nsis ten t 2-2 fin ish es, giving him the
ove ra ll in th e 80cc(14-16) Stoc k class.
