Joe Man gra vito grabbed the holeshot in the
first Vet Novice mo ta. Trailing him through the
first tum were Bob Lonni, Rowland, Tod d Waiters a nd Loyd McLa in . Row la nd had sec o nd
place by the time th e pack cleared the tech nical
Whoop sectio n, and he ha d the lead by the threeq ua rt er ma rk of lap one . An d he d id n 't stop

Mean wh ile, there was some sw a pping going
on behin d Rowland ; Walter s moved up to secon d, Mangr a vito dropped ba ck to thi rd , Matt
Avery moved up to four th and Lonni dropped
to fifth . Rowland was way out front, leading by
20 seconds after two laps. He won easil y, bes ting Walters, Avery, John Truesdale a nd Man a
gravito.

ho les hot in the se cond Vet No vice moto, Iollowed by Rowland , Avery , Man gr avil o, a nd
Truesdale. Rowland, however , led by th e tim e

The rest of the moto was a snoo zer as the top
five we re quit e spread out. Rowland took the
win with a lead of ~me 20 secon ds over Tru esda le. Avery, Lonni and Mangravito rou nded out
the top five.
