on th e RM125 and 250
mod els.

rigid a nd stu rdy u ps idedown forks on the 125 and
250. Suzuki claims its new

with the streng th and rigidi ty of the inve rted d esign ."
Technical informati on
abo u t th e new RMs is s till
sketchy, but we do know that
th e RM125 fea tu res a lar ger
Keihin PWK38 carburetor that
now incorporates a powe r-je t
system. Also new is the pis ton,
which Suzuki s!1Ys featu res a
Black Fluoro-compound surface
treatment. Other engine chan ges
in cl u de in crea sed crankshaft
inertia and a larger clutch.
The RM250 boasts new cyli nd er porting, power-valve modifi- .
cations, and a new crankcase and pist on.
The radiators also featu re more coola nt .
capacity.
In th e su spe nsion de partmen t, both
the RM125 and the 250 get a new shock,
brake-pad mat erial and a 20mm -lar ger
rear-brake rotor.
Th e RM 80 was le ft un ch an ged ,
excep t for new graphics.
Alth ou gh a release d ate has not ye t
been set, Suzuki is making a big pu sh to
get their RMs out and av ailable to the
public as soon as po ssible.
