_ The problem" was a fau lty bypa ss valve
causing low fuel p ressure. Petty came to
the line and revved it up but the valve still
wasn't righ t, so they pulled out. While Jeff
Yoder and Glen Petty Sr. wo rked on the
bike, Gerencer took the bypa ss off his bike
for them to use. With full power, Petty put
in another solid ride.
