the 80cc (6- 11) Novice class, parked his compe tition in the chea p seats as he flashed to monster
w ins in each of his motas at an LVMe mo tocross
held at the Las Vegas Motor Spe<..:Iway .

Harris, Matt Rein cke and the rest of the 80ce (6-
11> Novices . Parker, who is used to racing in big
Amateur events, cra nked it up to a "National
pace" and ran away from the rest of his class.
Mean while, Reincke foug ht his wa y u p to challenge Wesley Ha rris for the second spot. As
Parker w as w inning w ith eas e, H arr is a n d
Reincke were battling bar to bar throughout the
las t half of the race. Altho ugh Reincke kep t the
pressure on Harris, showing him a wh eel freq uen tly , he w as a ble to edge Reincke for the
runner-u p slot. Chris Renzi top ped To ny Capu to
for the fourth spot.
Once a gain , Parker led t he entire p ack
aro u nd the cou rse as the second moto began.
The Motorcycle Cen tral-sponsored ace had the
hea t turned up even higher this time around as
he bl azed aro und the track at an even fas ter
pac e. He op en ed u p a huge lea d over Ha rris,
Reincke and Chri s Renzi, who were engaged in
a fierce battle for second pla ce. The dogfigh t
lasted for several laps u ntil Reincke went down
in the back of the track, which p ut him out of the '
race: Parker pos ted the solid win and ea rned the
overa ll crown. Harris soldiered on to finish second overall, ahead of Renzi and Capu to.

Daryl Walter pu t together ' a 2·1 mot o score to
take the win in the 250cc Novice class at round
three of the Kansas Motocross Cha mpio nships .
In th e fir st mo to, Frank Sell Jr. took the
holeshot, wi th Sco tt Cram , Scott Stevens and
Walter close behin d. All four riders stayed close
until the white flag came ou t. With only one lap
remai ning , Cram passed Sell for first and Walter
passed Stevens for thin;!. With just a few turn s
left, Walter and Stevens passed Sell for the second and third spot. Cram took the win, followed
by Walter, Stevens and Sell in fourth .
The second 250cc Novice mota sta rted just
like the first, with Sell taking the lead , but Waiter made the pass and never looked back. Now
Sell had to worry about Cram and Stevens, who
we:re p u tting a lo t of pressu re on the seco nd
spot. On the second lap , Cram mad e the pass on
Sell for seco nd , bu t Sell was abl e to hold o ff
Stevens for th ird . Walter took the overa ll win
with a 2~1 moto finish, Cram went 1 ~2 for seeond
and Sell turn ed in a 4-3 for tltird .
In the Pee Wt.'C class, Jamie Siever rode a per~
feet set of motos to win the overalL Gabe Moore ,
Kimber Hard ey and Jacob. Haas batt led for second through fourth. At the end of two matos,
Moor e took second w ith a 2-2, followed b y
Hard ey (3-3) and Haas (4-4).
