250cc A classes during the Rocky Mountain
Motocross Association's Mothers' Day
Motocross event, held at Aztec Family Raceway.
The 22-year·old Vickery Motorsports/JR
Designs·backed Morgan, who opted to sit out
the last Pfl series, plans on returrung to the
Arenacross series later this year. He also hopes
to race a couple of upcoming outdoor Nationals.
"I've bee,n racing primarily local events,"
Morgan said. 'This is my fifth race back and I'm
feeling really good. I hope to make it to either
Red Bud or Millville. I've been working with
some local trainers here in Colorado Springs,
and look forward to racing at the National level
again,"
Sporting a new spiked, blond look for '98,
Morgan mastered. the 125 and 250cc A classes
with a clean sweep of all fOUT motos.
