finishes to claim the top spot in Oassie
500cc ovice, edging the 1-3 day of AJS
Stormer rider Eugene Crawford. "Old"
Ed M~agor, aboard a Rickman BSA B44,

The best ride of day in the numbertwo line came from Premier Ughtweight A rider Ken Burningham, aboard
a Cotton. His two points put him ahead
of Triumph Cub rider David Olliges and
Ken Dodge, who was debuting. his beautiful Greeves Anglian.
In Premier Heavyweight B, Ernie
Stair guided his AJS to a 19-point day,
besting Dick Mann's 23 markers aboard
a Triumph twin.
Robert Borg had a full day at Sears,
riding his CZ road ra~er early in the
morning, then making it up the hill in
time to compete in the trial. His efforts
were rewarded with a win in Classic
Intermediate aboard a Saracen.
Two Yamaha riders battled for top
honors in Junior Beginner, with Andrew
Cerini coming out on top over Max
aff.
