The Overall B victory was claimed by Brian
Cecil as he led a hard-riding Justin Goertz into
the scoring barrels. Cecil overcame a mediocre
start to work his way through the pacle to claim
the lead at the halfway point, with Goertz in
tow. But as the two came around for the checkers, Cecil pulled out to a 3O-second advantage to
claim the win.
In the huge battle for the Overall C crown,
Milee Davies rallied from the 200cc C class to
nail down the victory by narrowly edging fellow
200cc C rider Michael Ingle by three seconds at
the finish line.
lorie Whitmire walked off with a threeminute victory in the Women's class.
An epic battle for the 60cc title heated up as
Austin Jones stayed cool and held off Chris Jesperson for what was to be the most exciting race
of the day. The two 60cc riders completed 12
laps in 45 minutes to see Jones win by a bike
length.
