As hosts of the very fIrst Honda Challenge at Laguna Seca, we wanted to make extra sure everybody had a great time. We really did. But when the starter waved the green flag, our generosity ended. Like during the premier event, the' 750 Superbike race. Where a relentless Miguel Duhamel shot out to the lead aboard his blistering Honda RC457 masterfully held off a hard-charging field for all 28 laps right up to the final run through "The Corkscrew;' and took his fIrst checkered flag of the year. In the same race, teammate Ben Bostrom finished an astonishing fourth - despite a broken ankle. Erion Racing scored over the weekend too, with Tripp Nobles victorioU$ in the Formula Xtreme on an extremely hot Honda CB~900RR Okay, we admit it. We know that as tough as the competition is, it will be one heck of a Challenge.
