These heads feature separate intakemanifold runners, 3/8-inch raised ports (port design by Mike Roland), 100-percent CNC-ported, 1.940-inch intake valves and 1.620-inch exhaust valves. This is not a cobbled up "trick" manifold, as Shumaker has mirror-imaged the front intake port so that they now have a true dual-carburetor setup, with one carburetor to the right and the other to the left. The heads come complete and assembled with valves, guides, springs and two intake manifolds. The heads retail for $2445 per set (unpolished). For more information, contact Shumaker Racing, Dept. Maximum Security Lockdown, manufactured by the Australian company Taffynackles Engineering, is an antitheft boltdown device that works well with Cobralinks, Kryptonite and virtually any combination of cables, chains or locks to keep a motorcycle from being walked, lifted or rolled away. It has been on the market for five years "down under" and is considered to be one of the best. In fact, FAL, one of Australia's largest insurance companies, won't insure bikes valued at more than $8000 if they are not secured with one. Case-hardened, chromed, and turned from a solid-steeI bar, it bolts motorcycles or other powersports vehicles to any solid surface. The kit consists of a base, three dynabolt cement anchors and a protective cap, and requires a drill, a masonry bit and approximately 15 minutes to install. Maximum Security Lockdown is guaranteed for life and is available in two sizes. The 6300 model sells for $119 and works with padlocks or fork locks with cables or chains, and the 6600 sells for $169 and works with cable locks and U-Iocks.
