Hammond hammers Marion Indoor Motocross By Rupert x_ Pellett MARlON, OH, FEB. 27-28 Pinckney, Michigan's [an Hammond devastated the rest of the pack in both the 125cc Band Schoolboy classes at Marion's orth-Central [ndoor Coliseum, as the Suzuki-mounted racer topped both classes on Saturday after winning the B class and ne.tting third in the Schoolboy class on Friday. More than 400 racers from the Midwest and Ca.nada trekked to the coliseum for a weekend of fast racing and mild temperatures. With the series titles at stake, many classes were barnburners. Thornville, Ohio's Michael Willard made the East Coast debut of the all-new KTM 65 something special as he simply dominated both Friday and Saturday's racing in the formerlyall-green 60cc class.
