Catch the world's original em erne spOrt in all its high-flying gravity-defying glory! see the planet's top riders pushed to the edge of their abilities by 75' PnPs, 70 mph straightaways, hairpin A four-way battle developed in the 250cc A class, with SMP/Smith/Fox-sponsored Kevin Hall Jr. putting his Suzuki out front. Yamaha pilot Mike Boswell followed closely in second, with Matt Karlsen, also on a YZ, in third. Fay Meyers/Fox/Racers Edge rider Wes Hale trailed in fourth, but had a difficult time getting past Mike Reswell and Karlsen, who kept swapping lines while battling for position. At the checkers, it was Hall, Boswell, Karlsen a.nd Hale, with Afam/Cortez Trucking/ Amnette's Chad Sharp in fifth. A tight 5-rum, located at the end of the starting-line straightaway, proved difficult for Karlsen in moto two. As the pack funneled into the turn, Karlsen was pinched out and went cartwheeling end over end. Unhurt. he was able to charge back to fourth by end of the race. Boswell took the win, with Hale second and Hall third. Rounding out the top five was Lance Fark on a Yamaha. Resulls tlxnsand whoop-de-doos, all ja I • I ted into a 3/4-mile rnan-rnade dirt track!
