W/SI'1'A V ~~ I jus t wanted to take a minute to say how much I ap precia ted the comme nts mad e by PACE Motor Spor ts' Ken Hudgens (Voices, Issu e #6, February 18) on improving Supercross. I have been a ttending Supercross even ts fo r a round 15 years, u su all y ma kin g four or five ra ces a year . I' ve never really experience d any problems except at the Pont iac ro un d the last few yea rs. We' ve had drinks d umped on us from above, and my wife was hit w ith so me kind of thro wn object. Wh ile she wasn't hurt, I doubt tha t I'll b ring her along this yea r. Fur thermore, my young child ren are becoming interested in seeing a race, and I don't believe I'll take them to th e Pontiac round , which is unfortu nate because it is closest to ou r horne. 1t was hard to believe the amou nt of stu ff thrown from the stands at tha t ra ce. Again, at th e o the r Supercross rounds I've attended, I've never experienced these problems. .. An yway, thanks, Ken . I beli ev e yo u have some grea t id eas, particularly the "n ond rin king famil y secti on s." I and man y others appreciate your efforts. Jim Kimball Delaware, OH Impressed Printed in U.S.A.
