Goodman moved around Stephenson and in to third on the second lap a nd then made a mo ve on Chester the next lap fo r second . The Texan see m ed to have the track dialed as he closed in and ba ttled wi th Jones for quite some time . Chester was also in the mix, as he was right on Good man' s tail for most of th e ra ce. The sa nd once again got to Goodman, as he miscued ,on the 13t h lap, allowing Ches ter a nd a group of riders to ge t by. Chester now saw that he was in second, and h e picked u p his pace once again. Chester reeled in Jones d uring the few remaining laps and wa s riding like a madman on the final lap, looking for a spot to pa ss Jon es. Jones protected the inside lines all th e way to the finis h and took the checkers just fe et a hea d o f C hes te r . Pa lme r crossed the line for hi s second th ird place podium position of the night. A tired Jones sa id , " He (Chester) was catching up at the end, but, oh well, I won." "I feel good o n thi s tr ack a nd was hanging it ou t," Chester exclaimed . " I' ll be back tomorrow night for the win." "Th a t's all part o f th e ga m e righ t now," Palmer sai d of his strong rides. "I gained a few po ints o n Bud d y and tha t's all th at matt ers." Antunez pulled off his eigh th win of the seri es, followed by Jon es and Ped erson . W ilson had h is best ride o f th e se ries so far, crossing th e line wi th an impressive fourth. "I've crashed five tim es in th at turn, so I'll give it to him ," Antune z sai d of his early pass on Ped erson. Jones, Chester and Wilson were up at the fron t of the 250cc fina l. Jones was trying despera tely to catch Ches ter, but it was not his race, as the 27-year-{lld Chester crossed the finish line slowly, with his ha nd in the air, for his first win of the year.
