classes at th e Virginia State Motocross Otam pionship.

they converged. on Pro Spo rt MX in Wytheville
fo r the Virgin ia State Cha m pi onsh ip. The race
was round 10 of the AMA u.s. Mega Scrit.S, and

Sports Track Crew worked tirelessly to ensure
tha t the ev ...nt was run in an efficien t man n...r.
The ch all enging tr ack la yo u t was fa vora b ly
re'ceived by mos t rid ers, and ensured tha t on ly
th e most d om inan t riders would prevail an d
that prep aration was param ount to su ccess .

the laps progressed, Rob Fletcher kept dosing
up on the leaders. Rou ndi ng tum two in the seventh lap. he po wered pa st Cu su m ano to ta ke
over third . It looked like Fletcher was goin g to
take OVCT secon d in the final few la ps, when the
exhaust pipe on Beck's moto rcycle start ed to fall
off . In the last la p, Beck accid entally hi t hi s
en gine-kill switch wh ile trying to see wha t WOb
wrong with his pipe, and he momen tarily pu lled
out of th... rare. He resta rted. his mo torcycle and
managed to cross the finis h line second behind
Graves, leaving Fletcher in third.
