Georgie Price rose to the top of the Sportsman
class and o utsho ne the rest in bOlkc Pro .
At th e sta rt of th e Sportsman final , Jo hn
N ickens was the leade r into t he th ir d turn ,
ahead of Pri ce a nd Ricky Winsett. Price took the
lead in the follo wing lap o ff th e M'CUnd tum,
and wmsett took seco nd at the start of the third
lap , with those positions holding to the end.
Pr ice got a good tart o ve r Winsett and
Nickens in the 600cc Pro final, and the three
would finish in that o rd er .
Jim Hollister grabbed the Over 30 lead from
his far-wide starting spot in fron t of John Henderson. Bob Babcock and Brian Eckhart. While
Ho lliste r was pulling his Rabbi Racin g-sponsored Rota x out to a full-straightaway margin,
Hen d erson and Babcock argued over second in
the first half of the race until Henderson took
over the spo t for good .
Mik e Brabson too k th e t 2:icc B lead, ahead
of Ray Lied, Joey Tyeryar and Bryan Douglas.
As th ey co m pleted the first lap, Tye ryar took
over !Ot"C'Ond , with Do ugla§ taking third halfway
throug h the seco nd lap. For the rest of the race ,
Tye ryar tried to ge t under BraMon, who wa~
hugging the ins ide linc in the race of his life. As
the y came off the ~'Od tum for the last time,
Tyeryar go t a bettt"t' drive and got und er Brabso n as the y e n te re d turn three, holding on
through tum four for the win.
