However, this time De muth went to work early, showing Rand a wheel in nearly every tu m. trying to forCe a m.istake out of the veteran. Finall y, in the Last lap . Demuth was able to get a good drive in the final straight and left hi~ RM250 pinned over a double to pass Rand at the finish-line jump, winning the- mo ta and the overa ll by hall a bike length.
